Workshop Description:
Managing proposals requires a complex variety of skills including planning, organizing, developing, implementing strategy, and leading a team. Add to this the need to address the myriad, complex technologies, pricing, and risk management topics typical to formal proposals.

Workshop participants learn the validated Shipley proposal process and how it fits into the business development architecture. The skills learned address:

• Managing proposals that score high in evaluations
• Capitalizing on early customer positioning and marketing intelligence; determining what to do if this has not been done
• Integrating government special interest items into proposal planning including PBSC, Reverse Auctions, IMP/IMS, CAIV, EVMS, Section 845, and SPI
• Developing a Proposal Management Plan (PMP)
