United States Navy Littoral Combat Ship (LCS)
Shipley supported the winning global team on this strategic acquisition for the U.S. Navy’s Littoral Combat Ships. The initial value of the contract is $432.1M with options for production of nine additional vessels in the five years following 2012. Scheduled delivery of the first vessel is 2015. This award provides additional jobs and economic growth for the Mobile, Alabama community.
